Friday (from 6pm) - Meet outside Euston train station and board the train for a relaxing journey north. You will be met at Penrith train station and transported to your hostel accommodation, in Keswick, for the night for a full trip briefing, kit check and readying yourself for the days ahead.

Saturday - Departing the accommodation, you will head straight out to the hills, heading north to the first peak - Skiddaw! Continuing on to Great Calva and Blencathra, before heading down to the valley bottom and a night in a bunkhouse (pub dinner)

Sunday - After breakfast, you will head out and begin the journey south, towards the plateau of Helvellyn. Summiting many peaks en route, you will reach a lake at the end of the day where you will pitch tents for a rest and wild camp under the stars.

Monday - After packing away the tents, you will now head towards the centre of The Lake District. The day will start with a short, steep ascent then most height will be maintained as you meander on towards Bow Fell, at the head of The Langdale valley. The hike will end with a summit wild camp (weather depending) as you watch the sun set for another day.

Tuesday - Today will see you reach the highest point in England as you summit Scafell Pike, then on to the scramble to the summit of Sca Fell and down to Langdale Head for a night in the campsite and well earned pub food!

Wednesday - This is a tough day! - It starts by heading straight up the side of the mountain behind the pub (it is steep!) - then along the ridges, cols and peaks of the neighbouring mountains. After reaching the summit of Great Gable, with some of the best views in The Lake District, you will begin to head north again, to Honister and a night in a hostel (with a shower!)

Thursday - The final day of the adventure will see you return to Keswick, via a few more summits, of course and the comfort of our hostel, before celebratory drinks in town.

Friday (Contingency Day) - this will be used as a rest day or to split some other stage in case of bad weather (or anyone in the group understandably needs a break)

Saturday - The morning is free fro you to explore Keswick before you are transported to the train station in the early afternoon for a return back home (expect to back at Euston train station around 5pm)
