City Mountaineering is a London based adventure company committed to providing a hassle-free and affordable approach to taking people out of the city and into the mountains.

Born out of a passion for the mountains around the British Isles, we at City Mountaineering believe that you don’t have to jump on a flight overseas or take weeks off work to have a genuine mountain adventure; the mountains here on our doorstep are as wild and impressive as any around the world, and with many of our trips taking place over a weekend you often won’t need to take a single day off work!
With years of experience in exploring the UK mountain landscapes, we specialise in taking the road less travelled, getting off the crowded tourist trails and into the wilderness. Our qualified Mountain Leaders aim to show you the very best of what Britain’s mountains have to offer and to provide you with experiences that you’ll remember for a lifetime.
We know how busy London life can get and so our aim has always been to make getting into the mountains as easy as possible. With return travel from London, accommodation, food in the mountains and qualified guides all included in the price of a trip, you won’t have to worry about organising a thing!

HIKING
Leave the city on a Friday evening and spend a weekend hiking in the wonderful British mountain environment to unwind from the pressures of day-to-day city life
WILD CAMPING
Want a weekend with a little more adventure? Why not head out with us in to the mountains and camp under the stars, away from the crowds for that true wilderness experience
SCRAMBLING
A great way of taking your love of the mountains to the next level, still the same great outdoor experience, just a more direct route to the top!
ROCK CLIMBING
Whether it's evenings, day trips, or further afield. We organise trips to give everyone, regardless of ability, a chance to experience rock climbing as it should be - Outside!
