12-14 September 2025

A weekend away from the city and away from the crowds in Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park.

We will take an easy hike to the summit of Ben Lomond, away from the hoards on the tourist tracks, followed by an ascent of Ben Arthur (The Cobbler!)

"Enjoy, not Endure!"

The purpose of this trip is to provide an enjoyable and relaxing experience in the mountains. It's not about testing your strength and endurance.

This trip has been arranged for people with no/little experience of the mountains, however it is open for anyone of any ability that just wants to enjoy the mountains :)

We will sort out the travel, accommodation and most of the food - You just need to turn up at the meeting point and enjoy :)

We will end the day comparing photos and stories in the warmth of a traditional local pub.

You don't need to have any prior experience and the small group size will enable us to give you our full attention throughout the weekend, ensuring your safety and enjoyment is our number one priority.

  • Friday - Meet at Euston railway station and take the relaxing train journey to Scotland, where you will be met and transported to the accommodation.
Saturday - After a day/trip briefing we will head out to the hills - We will ascend Ben Lomond on a spectacular route away from the crowds with views back across the whole of Loch Lomond!
We will then return to a local pub to enjoy a drink by the open fire.
Sunday - After checking out of the hostel, we will take an easy hike away from the crowds, through beautiful valleys and to viewpoints on the summit of Ben Arthur.
We will then return to the minibus for the drive back to Glasgow and a train back to London (expect to arrive in to London at around 11pm)
