Itinerary
- Optional: Meet outside Euston train station at 6pm and board the train for a relaxing journey to The Lake District National Park.
- Your guide will meet you outside Oxenholme/Penrith train station at 9:30pm
- You will then travel by road the short distance to your weekend accommodation (road transfers included for those opting to include travel in their ticket)
- After a leisurely breakfast your guide will take you on an adventure to the quieter areas of The Lake District, away from the crowds so you are able to enjoy the serene beauty of the area
- At the end of the day you will return to the accommodation before heading out to a local pub for dinner
- Another leisurely start before checking out of the accommodation and heading out for a wander around one of the many lakes in which this national park is famed
- You will then return to the transport for your onward journey home.
- Optional: At the end of the hike you will be transferred to the railway station for your train back to London, glowing and rejuvenated after a relaxing weekend spent in nature (expect to arrive back to London at c.9:30pm)

Note: The weather and ground conditions will not be known until closer to the date and full winter conditions, whilst expected at this time of year, cannot be guaranteed. The trip will go ahead regardless of conditions (The only exception being if the prevailing weather is too dangerous e.g. Thunderstorms)

Spent a couple of days with Stu in the Lakes earlier this year and it was definitely worth it! Stu’s a chilled-out, great leader who knows his stuff and we had a couple of days of great hiking. No hesitation to recommend these trips to others – everything’s really well organised – all you have to do is turn up and join in with the fun. Will definitely book more once the Covid nonsense is out of the way. 🙂
