Itinerary
- Meet at London Kings Cross for an 8:30am train to The Lake District
- Transfer to Keswick and begin our hike into the hills
- Arrive at Skiddaw House Hostel – our off-grid base for the weekend
- Settle in, enjoy a communal meal and evening surrounded by mountains
- Full-day hike exploring the surrounding fells (route TBC based on weather and group preference
- Possible peaks: Skiddaw, Great Calva, or Blencathra (via a circular route)
- Return to Skiddaw House for a relaxed evening and group dinner
- Another classic Lakeland hike – maybe venturing toward High Pike, Carrock Fell, or a longer ridge route
- Optional shorter walk for anyone wanting a more relaxed day
- Celebrate the 10-year anniversary around the fire with drinks and memories (and maybe a City Mountaineering quiz)
- Hike out from Skiddaw House to Keswick, finishing with a well earned cafe lunch
- Short transfer to Penrith for the return train to London (arriving ~7:00pm)

Note: The weather and ground conditions will not be known until closer to the date and full winter conditions, whilst expected at this time of year, cannot be guaranteed. The trip will go ahead regardless of conditions (The only exception being if the prevailing weather is too dangerous e.g. Thunderstorms)
