Itinerary
The specific itinerary is subject to change based on local weather conditions. Â We will always pick the best weather day for the Ben Nevis ascent.
- Meet outside London Euston train station and board the Caledonian Sleeper train for an overnight journey to Fort William (bed in a single-sex, twin room with one of your fellow adventurers)
- Meet you guide as you disembark the train for a trip briefing before heading out on a hike in the local area.
- You will have two easier hiking days and one big mountain day (The Ben Nevis day). Â The order of these will be determined by the weather.
- Where you hike will also depend on the weather. It could be a local mountain, or it could be exploring the Glen Nevis valley or surrounding areas.
- The Ben Nevis day – Picking the best weather day, you will get an early start, to make the most of the day. Â You will make your way to the summit of Ben Nevis, via the incredibly dramatic ledge route!
- At the end of the day you will be transported to Fort William for your departure home on The Caledonian Sleeper train (expect to arrive at London Euston around 8am on Monday)

Note: The weather and ground conditions will not be known until closer to the date and full winter conditions, whilst expected at this time of year, cannot be guaranteed. The trip will go ahead regardless of conditions (The only exception being if the prevailing weather is too dangerous e.g. Thunderstorms)
