A weekend hiking in The Scottish Highlands – A perfect break from the busy city! You will be guided to the summit of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in The UK!

“Enjoy, not Endure!”

The purpose of this trip is to provide an enjoyable and relaxing experience in the mountains. It’s not about testing your strength and endurance. However a reasonable level of fitness is expected to hike the highest mountain in The UK.

As always, we’ll sort out the travel, transfers and accommodation so just join your guide at the meeting point and leave the rest to us.

We will end the day comparing photos and stories in a local pub.

You don’t need to have any prior experience (although reasonable fitness is expected, as it is a mountain after all) and the small group size will enable us to give you our full attention throughout the weekend. Ensuring your safety and enjoyment is our number one priority.

The trip with Stuart is absolutely amazing. He is so organised and always makes sure everybody is safe on the trip. I was struggling a lot during the ascend, but Stuart was very encouraging all the way long. He always stayed at the back to make sure nobody is left out. Will definitely book another trip with him again 🙂

I had a great experience with this group in Ben Nevis. The organisation of the trip was spot on. The hosts were welcoming and we all spent a good time with them. I will definitely do other trips with them.

Such a wonderful maiden voyage to the Scottish Highlands and summiting Ben Nevis with City Mountaineering. Top notch travel arranged on the Caledonian Sleeper and a rustic stay at the Ben Nevis Inn. Stuart and Katie are expert guides and you’re in safe and highly knowledgeable hands. I couldn’t have asked for a more memorable Scottish experience – haggis and all!

Just returned from my first trip with CM to climb Ben Nevis. Everything was beautifully organised and I loved waking up in the Highlands after leaving London on Friday night. Stuart makes the whole experience seamless and he has definitely wetted my appetite to do more trips. His stories are fascinating; he had the whole group hanging on his every word! His outlook and positivity energizes the group making the whole experience a pleasure. Returned to London refreshed, mentally and physically. Highly recommend.

City Mountaineering put on a great trip for us and we were lucky to have Stuart as our guide. He’s a star: fun and knowledgeable and able to tailor the trip perfectly. Amazing weekend – we’ll be back for another soon.

I hiked Ben Nevis last month with Stuart, who is an excellent guide. Not only is he experienced and passionate about his work, but also supportive and kind. Sometimes on difficult hikes you need that extra push and Stuart knows how to keep you going. Also, the trips start and end in London and the logistics are well planned, which makes this group great for busy professionals. Looking forward to more trips with City Mountaineering, and would definitely recommend.
