Winter Traverse of The Cairngorms - 21 Feb

£1,245Price

21 February - 02 March 2025

Join us on this UK Winter expedition like no other, as we complete a full, self-supported, northeast-southwest traverse of The Cairngorms National Park in north-east Scotland.

The 100km route will see us dragging pulks (sleds) over the highest continuous plateau in The UK, in full winter conditions. We will be completely self-sufficient and will overnight in tents, snow holes (if conditions allow) and remote mountain huts.

This truly is a once-in-a-lifetime trip and all on the shores of our little island. This will be a tough expedition and a good level of fitness is a must!

We will be hiking for 7-9 days on uneven mountainous terrain and you will be required to muck in with the team (building snow shelters, setting camp, boiling water etc).

Extreme expedition tents, pulks (sleds), ice axes, crampons and helmets will be provided. Sleeping bags and roll mats can be hired separately.
