Scrambling in Snowdonia - 28 June

Scrambling in Snowdonia - 28 June

£345Price

28-30 June 2024 (Weekend scrambling trip)

On this guided scrambling trip you’ll spend two days and two nights in the ancient scenery of the Snowdonia National Park. Scrambling* bridges the gap between hiking and climbing; when terrain is too steep to walk on but not steep enough to require the use of ropes and climbing gear. It is one of most enjoyable ways to scale a mountain and there's no doubt you'll come away feeling like a true mountaineer!

The first day scrambling will be your chance to climb Tryfan (the only mountain in England and Wales that requires the use of your hands to reach its summit).

The next day, we’ll journey off track through the lesser known (and far less travelled) parts of the Snowdonia wilderness and scramble our way to the summit of another local mountain.

No prior hiking or scrambling experience is required for this trip. You’ll be part of a small group and guided throughout by an experienced and qualified Mountain Leader who sees your safety and enjoyment as their number one priority

* Scrambling (noun) /ˈskramblɪŋ/: ‘A walk up steep terrain involving the use of one’s hands’
