A weekend hiking in Snowdonia National Park - Ideal for anyone that wants a relaxing weekend with good company and beautiful scenery...
We will take one of the most scenic and less travelled routes to the summit of Snowdon, away from the hoards on the tourist tracks, followed by an ascent of Cnicht (The Welsh Matterhorn!)
"Enjoy, not Endure!"The purpose of this trip is to provide an enjoyable and relaxing experience in the mountains. It's not about testing your strength and endurance.
This trip has been arranged for people with no/little experience of the mountains, however it is open for anyone of any ability that just wants to enjoy the mountains (remember, mountain hiking does invlove walking up and down hill so a basic level of fitness is expected :)
As always, we’ll sort out the travel, transfers and accommodation so just meet in London and leave the rest to us.
We will end the day comparing photos and stories in a local pub.
You don't need to have any prior experience and the small group size will enable us to give you our full attention throughout the weekend, ensuring your safety and enjoyment is our number one priority.
Friday (from 6pm) - Meet outside Euston train station and board the train for a relaxing train journey to North Wales where you will be met by your guide/host and transported to your weekend accommodation.
Saturday - After a day/trip briefing we will head out to the hills. We will ascend Snowdon on a spectacular route away from the crowds. We will return to the accommodation via a different route than we took on the way up for showers and a change of clothes before heading to a local pub for dinner
Sunday - After checking out of the accommodation, you will take an easy hike off the beaten track, through beautiful valleys and to viewpoints on the summit of Cnicht.
You will then return to the transport and be driven to the railway station for a realxing train jounrey back to London (expect to arrive in to London at around 9pm)
