ITINERARY
Note: The following itinerary may be altered based on weather conditions and, in some cases, the days may be switched, but we will always pick the best weather day for the Snowdon ascent.​

Friday Evening: Meet your guide and fellow trekkers

If London train travel option is taken: Meeting outside London Euston train station at 6pm, you will board the train for a relaxing journey to North Wales where you will be met by your guide and transported by road to your accommodation

If train travel option is not taken: You will meet your guide around 8pm at a pre-determined location and join the group as they are transported by road to your accommodation
Saturday: Trip briefing and Hike Snowdon​

Main event: After a briefing for the days activities, you will head out to begin your ascent of Snowdon. You will hike on a spectacular route away from the crowds.

After successfully reaching the summit and taking those all important photos, you will return to the accommodation via a different route than you took on the way up for showers and a a well earned rest

Winter Trip: This day will be used to practice walking on the snow and ice. you will be taught how to safely use crampons and ice axe, including the use of the ice axe if you start sliding

Evening: Head out for a group dinner at a local pub to share stories and photos of the day’s events

Sunday: Trek a little known peak, away from the crowds

Breakfast: A relaxing start to the day with a nutritious breakfast.

You will check out of the accommodation and pack the minibus before being driven a short distance to begin your second hike of the weekend

Trekking a 10km circular route, you will get away from the crowds as you reach marvellous viewpoints of Snowdon, the North Wales Coast and most of Snowdonia National Park.

Winter Trip: This will be the big day as you head out to reach the summit of Snowdon in full winter conditions. Your guide will give you tips and tricks throughout your journey to ensure you are as comfortable and safe as possible. The route that you hike will be dependent on the weather and ground conditions at that time.

You will return to the minibus and be driven to the train station for your departure home

If London train travel option is chosen: You will board the train for a relaxing journey back to London (expect to arrive around 8pm)​

Whether it be summer or winter, our highly experienced and qualified guides will get you off the beaten track to the summit of Snowdon and most importantly safely back down again.
