Week Itinerary

Please note that exact timings and order of activities are subject to change, based on the local conditions at the time - The beauty of of this trip is that the plans can be loose to allow for uncontrollable factors such as the weather

Day 0 – Friday (from 6pm)

Meet outside a convenient London tube/train station (tbc) to be driven to the northern boundary of Snowdonia National Park.

We will be transported to our hostel accommodation for the night for a full trip briefing, kit check and readying yourself for the days ahead.

Day 1 - Saturday

You will leave civilisation for the week, making our way south and to the Carneddau mountain range in north-east Snowdonia.

We will camp either on a summit or next to a lake (depending on weather conditions - a late April wild swim maybe?).

Day 2 – Sunday

After breakfast, we will help pack away tents and make our way across the Carneddau and on to the Glyderau mountain range - depending on the group and weather conditions, we could attempt a scramble of Tryfan with expedition packs!

We will camp high on the Glyders, admiring the 360 panorama view around us

Day 3 - Monday

Packing away the tents again, we will make our way towards and over Mount Snowdon.  Will will complete a full traverse of the mountain, finishing on the south side to conitune on our way across the national park.

We will camp at a remote site with views out across the Atlantic Ocean.

Day 4 - Tuesday

After a wild breakfast (and maybe a wild swim?) we will continue our journey south and to the most remote and least hiked area of the national park - The Rhynoggs!!

We will camp under the summit, next to a glacial lake with views across the sea as the sun sets in the distance.

Day 5 - Wednesday

Today will see us descend into a huge forest, for an easier day of lower level hiking.  We will make our way to the most southerly mountain in Snowdonia - Cadair Idris.

We will camp below Cadair Idris to rest before our steep ascent the next day

Day 6 - Thursday

The fianl day of the adventure will see us reach the northern boundaries of Snowdonia National Park!  We will make our way up the steep north face of Cadair Idris, before descending the south west ridge and down to the coast for the end of a fantastic adventure (and a well earned shower in a coastal B&B and celebratory meal in a local pub)

Day 7 - Friday

The mornig is free for you to explore the town or go for a stroll on the beach (a swim in the sea?) before you are transported to the train station in the early afternoon for a return back home
