16-18 July 2020
Speak to any seasoned climber in the UK and they will know about the famous gritstone of the Peak District. It really is one of the best places to climb in the UK and the huge variety of routes available there make it one of the best places to get your hands on rock for the first time. It has the added bonus of being an area of true natural beauty too!
This weekend in the Peak District is aimed at those who want to give rock climbing a go for the first time and those looking to make the transition from indoor to outdoor climbing.
You don’t need to have any prior experience or specialist kit and the small group size will mean you’ll get our full attention on the crag, ensuring your safety and maximising your enjoyment.
This is an all-inclusive trip with return travel from London included in the price (the only thing not included in the price is the pub meal on the Saturday), and you’ll be in the safe hands of a qualified climbing instructor with nearly 20 years of personal climbing experience.
The trip starts after work on Friday and you'll be back around 9pm on the Sunday evening, so you won't need to take any annual leave from work!
If you have any questions at all before signing up to this trip, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Please note that exact timings and order of activities are subject to change based on the local weather conditions and to ensure we have the best possible conditions for climbing.
Friday: Meet outside a North London tube station after work for the drive north to the Peak District where we'll check-in to our accommodation in time for last orders at the pub.
Saturday & Sunday: After a safety briefing we will head out to the crags where we'll climb various routes of differing difficulties (dependent upon the individual climbing).
Sunday PM: We will then return by minibus to London, feeling refreshed and invigorated for the week ahead (expect to arrive in to Central London at approx. 9pm)
