12-14 June 2020
A weekend of easy hiking in The Lake District National Park - Ideal for anyone that wants a relaxing weekend with good company and beautiful scenery...
We will head to the quietest area of this national park, away from the ever-increasing number of tourists, to explore the forests, valleys and peaks of this beautiful region.
"Enjoy, not Endure!"
The purpose of this trip is to provide an enjoyable and relaxing experience in the mountains. It's not about testing your strength and endurance.
This trip has been arranged for people with no/little experience of the mountains, however it is open for anyone of any ability that just wants to enjoy the mountains :)
We will sort out the travel, accommodation and most of the food - You just need to turn up at the London meeting point and enjoy :)
We will end the day comparing photos and stories in the warmth of a traditional local pub.
You don't need to have any prior experience and the small group size will enable us to give you our full attention throughout the weekend, ensuring your safety and enjoyment is our number one priority.
Friday (from 6pm) - Board the train in London and enjoy the relaxing journey to The Lake District National Park, where you will be met at the train station and transferred to your accommodation.
Saturday - A day of hiking the lesser-trodden areas of the Western Fells followed by dinner in a traditional local pub in the evening
Sunday - A second day of hiking, before being transfertred to the train station for a return back to London (for 9pm)
