Crib Goch: The famous knife-edge ridge that leads up the summit of Snowdon, the highest point in England and Wales.

This trip isn’t for the feint-hearted and a head for heights is advised! Climbing Snowdon via Crib Goch is without doubt the most adventurous way to hike this mammoth mountain and it really is one of best days out you can have in a pair of walking boots in the UK.

Although it is a non-technical route, Crib Goch does involve some scrambling (the use of your feet and hands) and does feel a little exposed in parts. For that reason, this trip is aimed at those with a least some hiking experience and those looking to take their hiking to the next level.

You’ll spend two days and two nights in Snowdonia, scaling Crib Goch and Snowdon on the first day and spending the second day scrambling another classic grade 1 ridge: Bristly Ridge on Glyder Fach.

With a 4:1 client:guide ratio, you’ll be led by two qualified and highly experienced mountain leaders who will ensure you’ll be kept safe at all times.

As always, we’ll sort out the travel, transfers and accommodation so just meet in London and leave the rest to us.

  • Friday (from 6pm) - Meet in London and take a relaxing train journey to North Wales where your leader and host for the weekend will meet you and drive to your accommodation in Snowdonia National Park

Saturday - Hike to the summit of Snowdon on the notorious Crib Goch ridge!

Thursday - Scramble Bristly Ridge on Glyder Fach, before being transferred to the train station for your return back to London (expect to arrive in London at around 10pm)
