14-16 August 2020
A weekend of easy hiking in Snowdonia National Park - Ideal for anyone that wants a relaxing weekend with good company and beautiful scenery...
We will take an easy hike to the summit of Snowdon, away from the hoards on the tourist tracks, followed by an ascent of Cnicht (The Welsh Matterhorn!)
"Enjoy, not Endure!"
The purpose of this trip is to provide an enjoyable and relaxing experience in the mountains. It's not about testing your strength and endurance.
This trip has been arranged for people with no/little experience of the mountains, however it is open for anyone of any ability that just wants to enjoy the mountains :)
We will sort out the travel, accommodation and most of the food - You just need to turn up at the West London meeting point and enjoy :)
We will end the day comparing photos and stories in the warmth of a traditional local pub.
You don't need to have any prior experience and the small group size will enable us to give you our full attention throughout the weekend, ensuring your safety and enjoyment is our number one priority.
Friday (from 6pm) - Meet at the pre-determined London train station and be driven to the hostel accommodation in the heart of Snowdonia National Park.
Saturday - After a day/trip briefing we will head out to the hills - We will ascend Snowdon on a spectacular route away from the crowds and perhaps go for a wild swim in a local lake/waterfall (weather depending, of course :)
Sunday - After checking out of the hostel, we will take an easy hike away from the crowds, through beautiful valleys and to viewpoints on the summit of Cnicht. We will then return to the minibus for the drive back to London (expect to arrive in to London at around 10pm)
