09-13 April - Easter Weekend!
Hike to the summit of the highest mountain in the UK! Which route? Well, it's a City Mountaineering route, so we're not going to hike the boring slog of a tourist track :)
We will make our way along a stunning ridge, or scramble up one of the many North Face gullies to the summit! (specific route is weather dependant)
But, that's not all! - We will also spend a day hiking in Glen Coe or a day in Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park - Exploring this truly beautiful region of Scotland This trip promises to be a great adventure in one of the wildest places in the UK. All with the support of a qualified mountain leader.
Thursday (from 9pm) - Meet at either Glasgow airport or train station and transferred to your accommodation for the night
Friday - Get up early stretch the legs in either Glen Coe or Loch Lomond National Park, taking in the summit of a local munro (Scottish mountain), then drive north to our accommodation near Ben Nevis
Saturday - Get up early and drive to the base of Ben Nevis for a scramble ascent of the north face, then return to our hostel and a local pub for hearty food, drinks and local folk music
Sunday - Take an easier hike in the local area to stretch the legs from the day before. Visit the highest frestanding waterfall in The UK and venture to vantage points with views of the surrounding area.
Monday - This is a relaxing day of sight-seeing as we slowly work our way, in the minibus, back to Glasgow for your connections home (expected arrival time of 4pm)
